This includes assistance with business planning, market research, feasibility studies, financial forecasting, and access to funding and capital. MPG can help Indigenous entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas into viable plans and access the resources they need to get started.
MPG provides workshops, seminars, and courses to help Indigenous entrepreneurs learn the skills they need to start and grow successful businesses. These training and education programs cover a range of topics, including business management, marketing, financial management, and leadership.
MPG acts as a bridge between Indigenous communities and businesses to facilitate partnerships and ensure that their interests are represented. We help businesses to understand the unique cultural, economic, and social context of Indigenous communities, and we help communities to engage with businesses in a way that is respectful and mutually beneficial.
IBAs are agreements negotiated between Indigenous communities and resource development companies to ensure that the development of natural resources on Indigenous lands results in positive economic, social, and environmental outcomes for Indigenous communities. MPG provides support in negotiating and implementing IBAs to ensure that they are fair and beneficial for Indigenous communities.
MPG connects Indigenous entrepreneurs with experienced mentors and provides opportunities for networking with other Indigenous business owners and leaders. Mentors can offer guidance and support, while networking can help entrepreneurs to build relationships and access new opportunities.
MPG provides information and assistance to help businesses secure government and private sector contracts. This includes guidance on procurement processes, bid preparation, and contract negotiation.
MPG advocates for policies and programs that support Indigenous entrepreneurship and economic development. We work with governments and other organizations to promote the interests of Indigenous businesses and communities.
MPG recognizes the unique cultural values and traditions of Indigenous communities and provides support to help businesses operate in a culturally appropriate way. This includes guidance on engaging with Indigenous communities, respecting Indigenous knowledge, and incorporating Indigenous perspectives into business operations.
MPG provides access to a range of resources, including business incubators, co-working spaces, and technology support, to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. These resources can help entrepreneurs to reduce costs, access specialized equipment or expertise, and connect with other entrepreneurs.
